It is always cheerful for me to see the interactions between natural and artificial beings. And last time when I was in Siena, I was lucky to witness it in the Piazza del Campo!

Pigeons were flying above the plaza, coming and going away. When they were tired, they found spots to relax: they drank water coming out from the mouth of animal-shaped sculptures, or they stopped and stayed on the god and goddess’ arms to take a rest. Everything was in such a harmony, and these simplest things kept me staying and watching for a long time.

Happiness is simple like this. And to find it, all we need is a pair of eyes to spot it, and to appreciate it with patience. ❤
