The other day I was tidying up my photo collections, and found the pictures that I took during my trip to Palermo 7 years ago.
Italy was one of the first European countries that I visited, and despite all the other famous cities (Milan, Florence, Rome……) I went to Sicily on my first trip to Italy!
It was a pity that I only stayed in Palermo for one day, and my memories of my Palermo tour was not very vivid any more. Although I wasn’t able to take time to appreciate the beauty that Palermo offered, I still did capture some nice snaps of this special place.
Morning Palermo ❤ From the balcony of my hotel room.
Walking on the street in Palermo
A must-see sight: The Palermo Cathedral
Chiesa di Domenico (Saint Dominic Church)
The Baroque architecture in Palermo
One of the places that I always find lots of fun is the fresh market. I found all kinds of flavors and delicious things in the fresh market in Palermo.
The Opera dei Pupi (Opera of the Puppets)
Right before I left Palermo, I found this delicious Arancine, one of the most popular traditional Sicilian food, in the train station. What a nice thing to end my short stay in this wonderful city! Yumm~~~ 😛
