Being a member in a mix family, I need to be creative from time to time. Given the fact that my husband is an italian, who is picky in food by born, my creativities are consumed majorly in cooking.
Since my mother-in-law, who is a good italian chef, is living far away from us, I don’t have an “on-call” tutor to teach me how to cook Italian food all the time. So I explore recipes myself. Today for lunch I prepared a very simply pasta: fettuccine in pork & pomodoro sauce, which me and my husband both liked very much.
Ingredients:
– Marinade sauce: olive oil, vinegar, chili powder, mix of spices (I used the McCormick product with mix of parsley, basil, oregano, thyme, etc.), tomato puree, salt, black pepper (ground)
– Pork
– Fresh tomatos
– Fettuccine pasta
Preparations & Cooking:
1. Mix the ingredients of marinade sauce all together
2. Cut the pork into small cubes, and mix them with the marinade sauces. Stay for 20-30 minutes
3. In the meanwhile cute the tomatos into small pieces. Use a blender if necessary, which is my case. 🙂
4. Cook the marinaded pork on a stew, until it turns into brown-yellow color.
5. Put the blended tomatos into the stew, mix them with the pork and cook for a while. And then add some tomato puree and salt.
Oh, mamma mia, quella pasta mi ha fatto venire fame!!! Che bella!
